fulcrum R3

Hi

Do any of you good folk know the axle size of a fulcrum R3
19 mm springs to mind but I cant be sure .... I need a new 10spd free hub.

Don't believe axle size can tell you which freehub to get for R3 - I think different year models with the same axle can have different freehubs.

Thanks for the reply Record/Ace..... I had a search for a free hub R3 with the information on there sale it stated 19mm axle size ..
I was unsure if there where different axle sizes in there free hubs on a R3 8/9/10 speed...

Had a search and found that R5/R7 run on a smaller axle....
And R3/R1/zero run on a 17mm axle . I believe this applies on there 11/12/13 models

I believe the 2013 Shimano freehub can cater for 11 speed, while e.g. the 2011 one does not. The hubs have the same hollow axle (which varies in diameter along its length...). Often using part number is the most reliable way to order the correct part.

I thought you just had the choice of Shimano or a proper one ie Campagnolo.

Proper? Surely should have been bona fide Campag wheels, despite the parentage of Fulcrum...
