FSA MegaEXO replacement?

So my new bike's BB seems to be failing after less than 600 miles. Has an FSA MegaExo BB-4400 and from what i've read, they are a worse than using a potato as a bottom bracket.

Anyone got any recommendations as to what external bottom bracket to replace it with? I've not had any experience of external bottom brackets before so I don't know what to choose
