Hey guys my fsa gossamer crank has started to squeak, it sounds like I got a bloody mouse stuck in there

I had my bb30 bottom bracket replaced about 300 miles ago so I know it's not that plus I took the chain off today and it spins perfectly smooth and freely i just got a squeaking noise

I sprayed it with some GT85 which has helped but now it's still squeaking but only at a certain spot on the pedal stroke

Any suggestions as it's damn annoying

Saddle rails, seat post, etc. Try it, is the noise there when out of the saddle, the two I mentioned are the one's most people think come from the bottom bracket. You wait till you add the noise of knackered knee's grinding, I spent a few moments looking at the bike wondering where that one was coming from.

Definitely from the crank, I had it on the work stand earlier spun it without the chain

Hopefully the misses can pick up a self extracting cap today (mine is missing) and I can pull the crank off later today

Check it's all clean, give it a bit of a grease and put it all back together torquing it up right and it'll be sorted. No worries.

I've had a few noises from my bb30 and that has generally always sorted it.

Cheers it's going to have to wait until I get the cap for the self extracting bolt, couldn't get one today

I had a occasional graunchy squeaking noise, normally when climbing, that I couldn't find anywhere on the drivetrain or BB, nothing seemed to cure it. Then I started stairclimbs in one of my exercise routines and there it was again, coming from my left knee... :headshake:
