fsa bb30 bearings

pressed out my old bearings due to the noise from the bottom bracket and chucked them in the bin on friday. i then came to buy replacements the afternoon and looks like i should have kept the plastic seal covers. before i place my order for these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261245576798?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 can you buy the covers anywhere or do i need to start looking in the bottom of the bin?

What, the rigid plastic discs that sit between the bearing surface and the spacers/wavy washer?

Yes - I'd poke about in the bin for them if you are buying OEM bearings.

the plastic covers have gone so i will need to buy a new full BB, am i write in thinking a SM-BB71b is the correct type as its not a BB30 but a BB86

quick update, ive bought the sm-bb71b and the fitting went straight forward and tourqued up correctly.on the test drive the bike felt good. ive just cleaned the bike and without the chain on for resistance, the crank turns smoothly but not freely ie if you turn it once 360 deg and let go it stops when my older bike with a square taper will continue to turn several times. i never noticed this with the old BB, is this normal. like i said on the test drive it felt very smooth
