FSA BB-7420ST Bottom Bracket

Does anyone know if the FSA BB-7420ST fitted to a friends 2013 Defy 3 (with a FSA Tempo Compact crankset) would be compatible with a Shimano 105 5800 crankset? We are looking to upgrade the groupset on the bike to a full 105.

I think I've just found the answer to my own question - No!

If I am correct, I now believe I would need to replace the BB with a Shimano one - am I right?

You dont have to buy a shimano BB there are plenty that are compatible, FSA BB6000 for example, however easier to go with say a shimao 5700 BB which is cheaper and prabably last longer than the FSA.

Thanks for the replies. My friend is looking at a 105 5800 groupset which appears to come complete with a BB so maybe that would fit in place of the FSA BB......
He is also aware that a wheel upgrade to an 11 speed hub will be necessary.
