PM me via the forum, the frame can be bought as is or I will offer £200-£250 off in exchange for a Salsa El Mariachi frame, 20" in the charcoal/black colour scheme(not the pomp blue). It would need to be the original, 2010/2011?, frame with the standard 1/18" external headset and the alternator dropouts. Everything from an El M build should fit the Ti frame except for the seatpost, which I can throw in a 31.6 and collar one that will work.
So if anyone is tooling around on a 20" charcoal El M and fancies an upgrade to Ti, this would only set you back £5-600, depending on condition and deal we strike.
Burls 29er Ti Frame Sale 1 by MacBludgeon, on Flickr
£820 posted or £780 collected - custom Burls 29er frame, almost unused, it certainly looks like it. Has been built up, tested on road only and then I decided on a different build entirely and a different frame. Geometry - if you think Singular Swift or Salsa el Mariachi then you're very close. I'm 6'1" fairly standard proportionally. This was designed for rigid forks but with a mind to being able to run 80/100mm suspension forks as well. I suppose it could run 120mm forks but I think that would be pushing it. Frame - Burls custom Ti designed around 470mm AtoC forks(ie suspension corrected for 80mm), disc brake only, HT 130mm 72 degrees for standard external headsets, ST 34.9mm 508mm CtoTop and 452mm CtoC 40mm extension above TT and forward facing seatclamp slot, 73 degree angle. TT is 592.9mm actual, 620mm effective and has a 17.1 degree slope. BB shell is standard 68mm width, 60mm BB drop and has been faced. DT is oversized at 45mm. Chainstays are 445mm and S-bend style as are the seatstays. Full rack and guard mounts on frame. DT derailleur cable routing and TT/Seatstay brake cable routing, zip tie cable clamp style. All fittings have stainless steel socket head bolts in them greased, full CAD drawing supplied with all the details etc.
