I bought this bike as a stopgap in 2008 while I was waiting for my work CTW scheme to be set up and I've not used it since I got my tourer.

This is this year's version of the bike:- http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/ebw...2&f_SortOrderID=1&f_bct=c003155c018333c018336, which isn't as good as mine (IMO).

Mine has Conti Sport Contact tyres, Shimano hubs, stainless spokes and better rims which have all been cheapened on the current model.

As you can see from the photos it's in very good condition, having covered less than 500 miles from new. I've fitted butterfly bars instead of the straight bars it came with, SKS mudguards and a wired computer. I've also changed the front chainwheel to a 38 instead of the original 44 to give me a gear range of 34 - 93 gear inches (usefully lower down here in Devon). It's got braze on's front and rear so will take a full set of racks and panniers without P-clips. I've put the new saddle and pedals off of my tourer on it so they're unused.

I'm in Exeter, about a mile from the main train station and would prefer collection although could box it up if you wish to arrange for a courier to collect it from me.

Oops - it's a 17" frame. In the pics, it's set up for me at 5'7".

Steve, I'm interested but it would cost me more to collect by train/car than it would to courier it via Parcelforce. They do a bike for £20, but you'd need to scrounge a bike box from your LBS.

Bike received, absolutely delighted, can't wait to see Joshies face, deliberately hadn't told him just in case things didn't pan out.

When Steve says VGC it really is, A1 condition and he threw in a bike computer!!!! Also a pleasure to meet another CCer, maybe the LushMouseketeers need to get down to the far South West sometime:biggrin:

Well. Josh and I have been for a spin, saddle at lowest setting is spot on for him, they still like to be able to touch ground with both feet:biggrin: Some serious sibling envy as Josh has a bike computer now:evil: 1x8 gearing is just what they need for bombing around.

One of those real 'Dad' moments when I took him into the garage to see it:laugh:
