I've just bought a 15-speed Raleigh Cyclone.

I remember reading in earlier posts that there are certain front/rear sprocket combinations that you shouldn't use with 18/21 speeds.

Does this also apply to a 15 speeds?

It does apply here too. What you want to avoid are the big-to-big and small-to-small combinations, where the chain is right across at an angle.
So, on the inner (little) chainring, keep towards the bigger cogs at the back, and avoid the little one.
On the middle chainring, use all 5 if you like.
On the outer (big) chainring, use the little cogs at the back and avoid the biggest one.
Simples!! and :welcome:
