I've just ordered myself a set of TA Zephyr chain rings - 44, 34, 24.
Reading this article about front shifters on the CTC website:
http://www.ctc.org.uk/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabID= 4068
makes me worry whether my current RX100 front mech / Sora STI will cope with the curvature.
If it doesn't, what to do? My road shifters won't pull enough cable to use an MTB front mech...
A chap in Evans cycles that I pass on the way into work said: "Any shimano front mech has to deal with the curvature of a 39 tooth inner ring, so why would it have a problem with a 44?"
I really hope I don't need to replace my shifters
