Do you want a light to see the road with, or just a light to be seen by? Also, what is your price range?

I've just bought and installed an Exposure Flash (and the Flare rear too). About to use it to commute in for nights for the first time in a few minutes - will let you know what I think of it, if you're looking at the 30-40 pound budget for a 'be seen' light.

I've been using the Blackburn Flea 2.0 up until now, but have been let down by it failing to charge properly and needing replacing twice (the seller says its a common problem, however have had no issues getting a replacement twice).

I've just bought 2 of these, http://www.cateye.com/uk/products/detail/TL-LD611-F/ from Ribble Cyles, they cost me about £36 for two via their current offer, (RRP £29.99 each). I don't need to see by lights, I just need to be seen, and these are damned bright for small lights and have some great flashing functions. I also wanted them small and wanted the USB recharge ability, so these ticked all my boxes.
I've been using them for a couple of weeks, have only charged them once, (when I got them), and IME they are a superb commuting 'be seen' light.

Price wise around the 50 pound mark and to light the road, I do fancy the idea of recharging them though smileysmoo.
