I wondered if somone can help, I am currently trying to change cables on front deraulier but limiter screws are rusted. Will next to use these in order get cable to work ?
If they're set correctly before they'll still be set correctly afterwards, it's cable tension you'll need to get right. Now if those adjusters are rusted as well..........
If the front mech is unservicable (which it sounds like it is, if you can't free the limit screws), then take the opportunity to change the mech at the same time.
Unless you're changing the crank/BB there is no need to touch the limit screws, personally I can't understand why people fiddle with em when simply changing cables.
