Frivolous SKS mudguard question

I'm going to get some SKS mudguards for my Revolution Cross (photo).

Should I get them in black or chrome?

I've bought and fitted both on different bikes. For that colour scheme it has to be black!

Sometimes a contrasting colour works surprisingly well.
Ti Frame, Black seatpost, black rims, black mudguards.... but Honey Brooks and (nearly) matching bar tape.... works a treat IMO

This is what I was thinking.

If you'd like the contrasting colour look then chrome.
