I've never paid attention to MTB wheel weights, but they seem surprisingly light - on a par with the Mavic Crossmaxes.

Now those new carbon Mavic R-Sys' weighing in at 950g a pair. Now they are nice.

And they'll be beyond my price range when they're released to the public.
