Friction shifters.

I’m eventually doing a MTB to gravel conversation. I’m wondering if these bar end friction shifters will cover 3x7.
Also what’s the highest they’d cover?

Yes. They'll easily do 3x7. They'll operate up to 10 sprockets I'm pretty sure.

I’ve found out they make an uno version that does up to 12!!

I loved doing mine. A unique build that only I know the details of, with solutions to problems that I solved (or bodged). It turned out to be a great bike to ride.

On mine I converted from 3x7 to 1x10 using modern shift levers.

I love my 3x8 Temple with 30 year old bar end shifters and Rapid Rise derailleur.

Pretty sure no one else could ride it.
