Free service in my lbs

Having bought a new bike about a month ago im entitled to a free bike sevice. Just wondering if this was worth while?

Yes, if it's free then why not?
Be good just to tighten the cables anyhow.

If it's a proper service you should make sure you take it up. They should check the wheels (spokes and hubs and general trueness of the wheel) brakes and the front and rear mechs as these usually need a bit of attention after "running in".

all depends on the bike shop, after seeing the way my LBS fitted my computer i decided it's best if i kept my bike away from them
