Free Hub ?

I took apart my rear hub, all but the free hub (couldn't get that off) greased it all up and put it all together and its seems grand in the pedaling direction but its a bit ratchety (if that the right word) in the freewheel direction.
Has anybody any ideas what that might be and how to sort it?

What make of hub is it? Campag are much louder than Shimano or Mavic. If you put a bit more grease in it helps to dampen the noise, but too much can clog the ratchet and stop it engaging.

Cheers, its a Shimano, I wouldn't be surprised if I've added to much grease.
