I'm looking to buy a truflo frame pump, following this mornings 4 p*nct*re fest, and the gentle ribbing got about my 'perty little' Specialized mini air tool.

any one know what size I need? they come sized 1 through to 4 my seat tube is 15" and my top tube is 19" both inside frame measurements.

Thanks.

Just turn up at your LBS and get them to sell you the right one - online is not always best.

Failing that you will need a pump somewhere between 15" and 19" long

The Blackburn is S, M or L.

Online may be easier than I thought. I guess living within 5 miles of the same shop for over 30 years sets me in my ways.

Zefal HPX size 3 is about 18-20"
Zefal HPX size 2 is about 16-18"
There is a size 1 which would presumably be 14-16"
Truflo HPX is the same as Zefal HPX.

As far as pumping is concerned, the longer the better.
To use a size 3 under the top tube, you would need a pip on the back of the head tube. If there isn't one there, you can use the locking block of a largeish size cable tie round the head tube. Something like a Park instant patch behind the block would avoid paint damage and discourage slipping.

The Topeak road morph is about the same as an HPX2 in terms of easy of use/pressures. It would fit under the top tube using velcro straps.
