Frame damage

Just yesterday I noticed an area of paint missing from a two year old carbon frame (Willier Izoard) it is not a chip from a stone but is about an inch and a half across and is between the FD hanger and the BB. Is this cause for concern/warranty claim or can I assume that it is only cosmetic and cover it with something - what?

I tried to take pictures when I first asked the question but as the paint is black as well as the carbon that shows through it is hard to see.There is a 5 year guarantee on the frame but I checked elsewhere on the interweb and am satisfied that it is just the lacquer and will remedy it with nail polish.
