My Suntour XCT V2 forks have started making a noise when they are being compressed. I've tried to capture it in the video, you can hear it best from about 15 seconds in (and you'll have to turn the volume up), but it sounds like a springy, clicky noise, there is a little bit of feedback through the bars too.

Any ideas on what it could be? Bike is booked in for it's six weeks service on Saturday; I'll mention it to them then but it'd nice to have some clue as to whether it is serious etc. etc. before a potential BS exercise from Halfords

BTW that isn't bird crap on the shed, it is silicone (long story)

I deffo would tell them and order them to get it sorted, I was told from a local bike shop that someone came in once and halfords had managed to put the front fork on backwards!!!!
it could be a faulty seal inside ,Letting air escape

yeah, I've been led to believe this isn't an unknown ocurrance

it could be a faulty seal inside ,Letting air escape

Doesn't sound like a huffing noise or anything, more a springy clicking. Will deffo mention it though

edit: just to add, these forks have got 150 miles on them
