Fork weight

Any idea how much some cheap high ten forks weigh? I'm thinking of changing them for carbon, other than weight saving what other benefits may I expect? It's for a 501 frame.

First upgrade: frame

Secon: wheels.

That said, decent forks can help. I ride bikes with full carbon, carbon blades, steel and alloy forks, and I have to say that regardless of rake the carbon ones are very comfortable.

You would be unlikely to find cheap forks weighing under 800g and some a lot more.

A decent pair of carbon forks will be roughly 350~400g and more like 500g + (if alloy steerer).
