Fork swap

Hi. I want to swap the front forks from my Apollo Guru (from suspension) to my Raleigh Ventura (no front suspension. Before I start, I'd be grateful for a rough informed assessment/ probability that the forks will be compatible, and any issues that I might encounter (and any suggested mitigations). Very many thanks.

Not claiming to be "informed", but my guess is that the suspension forks will be longer than the other. So when fitted to the Raleigh frame, the head and bars etc will be lifted by 4" or so. Might be ok, but just giving a different geometry/riding position.

They're dreadful forks. I really wouldn't bother.
