Fork springs / elastomers

Hello,

I'm looking for some springs (or possibly elastomers) to shoe-horn into a recently acquired Halson inversion fork.

The only constraints are: total length less than 210mm and outside diameter between 20-25mm.

Has anyone got anything lurking in their shed gathering dust?

Nice fork in its time; ISTR it used elastomers as the spring element. Even if you could find genuine Halson elastomers now, the effects of age would have rendered them useless.

I think your only solution will be to find a contemporary equivalent which fits. Sounds like a question for a good bike shop to me.

My LBS throws out any 'old stuff' into the skip as a matter of course... very useful!

I'm hoping someone on here has something random that fits the bill. I've written off the idea of NOS elastomers as they'll definitely be well past it by now.
