How far can I go?

I'm thinking of replacing the fork on my Terra C for a fork with mounts. What do I need to keep in mind when sourcing a new fork? I know the rake is 50mm, but that's about it.
Also, any recommendations for a carbon gravel mount that has mounts?

You need to know the fork offset (rake), the axle to crown dimension, and the head tube angle of your bike with the current fork fitted, also the tyre clearance you require.
You also need to know the steerer tube dimensions and whether it's tapered or straight.
A useful tool for calculating your bike's current trail and then seeing how different fork designs will affect it is the Bicycle Trail Calculator.

There are other trail calculators and they may not necessarily give the same results.

It's an expensive - in money and time - and risky exercise to switch forks when modern clip-on mudguards are relatively cheap, very effective and simple to fit.

I did switch forks on my original commuter bike to be able to fit mudguards - 20 years ago. But back then clip on mudguards were not a practical exercise. When I got my electric bike a couple of years ago I fitted Raceblades. Simple to fit and very effective.

Mounts for bags/cages I think rather than for mudguards.
