I'm hoping the collective wisdom of the CC forum can come up with a suggestion here!

Briefly I have a Bianchi Nirone C2C in red colour scheme, which I want to sell but TNT damaged the dropout so I need a replacement fork. Bianchi cannot supply a Nirone fork because there are no spares made when they do a production run. Bianchi importer has suggested I ask my LBS to order an Impulso 105 fork, which is the same and a similar colour scheme but I fear this will just end up with the same result.

LBS and I have agreed that the best solution would be just to fit an aftermarket carbon fork either in black or resprayed the same red, which Atlantic Boulevard the very excellent bike painter in Bury says he can do for £50. I'm not sure what fork the LBS will suggest but I've got an eXotic carbon fork on my mountain bike and it's excellent, eXotic also offer this road fork: http://www.carboncycles.cc/?s=0&t=2&c=75&p=807&

This looks as if it would integrate with the frame OK so I might just order one on the basis that I can return it if it's no good. My only concern is the carbon steerer - is this a good or a bad idea? I imagine they must flex a little and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

But before I do that, has anybody got any other bright ideas? I've checked Ebay and there doesn't look to be anything suitable going at the moment.
