A real David v Goliath event in the 5th round of the Scottish Cup, with a 12.15 kick off tomorrow. Live on Sky and due to the money paid this wipes out the club debt for Forfar.

For those not interested in football, Forfar finished at the bottom of the lowest league Scotland last year.

So, can I ask you all cheer them along.

Naw, thought you were a hibee?

I am, but I'm also and foremost a Loon. Been going to watch them since I were a lad. 1977 if I recall correctly, first game was against QoS. It was supposed to have been an Ayr game the week before but I got 'grounded'

Unbelievably I do not have a ticket for the match.

The ticket arrangements involved having to queue last Tuesday or Wednesday evening and I got stuck in meetings at work. And by the time I got home all the tickets were sold.

I bet the chairs of the meetings are Huns.

I see the grand re-match of David v Goliath has been postponed - clearly too cold for the weegies to cope with.

Aye, they are a soft lot those chaps from the city ;)
Still, I managed to go out for 85km on my bike in the cold instead. A bit chilly to start with but quite pleasant once the sun came out.

cookie - I'll have to watch to see what arrangements are made for the replay re tickets as there might be some people not able to go on the re-arranged date.

Will the replay be on TV? I hope Forfar are able to cash in.

That was my first thought when I heard it was cancelled. I think they make about 90k from the television rights, and that is one hell of a lot of money for a small club - had the game gone ahead today they would have cleared all of their 140k debt from the one game!

I suppose it comes down to what Sky have on their schedule on the date of the replay.

Yeeeaahhh! Game being screened by Sky.

Let's hope there are a few tickets returned so I can get along to see the game...if not it'll have to be a Wednesday night in the pub
