Okay, now the Bonus round,
i.e., a final chance to redeem yourself:

A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.
Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses; how does HE indicate what he wants?
It's really very simple

He opens his mouth and asks for it...

Does your employer actually pay you to think??

4 or 5 out of 5.... 4 or 5 because I instantly saw the paradox in question 2. The question poses an impossible situation and asks for an answer... there can't be one unless you interpret the question to find a real world scenario that'll fit. So it's not a trick question so much as one that relies on the wording to lead you astray.

The answer is wrong. You can overtake the last person if you lap them. You still don't know your own position, though, because you might be the first, second, third, etc. person to lap the last person.

The real world scenario that would fit is a race (running or cycling or motor racing) round a track where a number of laps are concerned. (400m running track or velodrome or any race with a number of laps) and the leader overtakes the person in last place thus lapping him/her.

I got 5 out of 5 but have seen similar things before, likewise the maths question (why do Americans call it Math??), not sure how you could get that wrong unless you are an accountant or Chancellor of the Exchequor!

errm 1 out of five...............- the maths one, i never overtake anyone and do not race, so find those questions should be disregarded for me- so it should be 3 out of 5 ;)

well, i could have lied and said 5 anyway...........

4 out of 5 - I was not really concentrating on the last one. More wondering why a blind person needed sunglasses.

Most blind people wear sunglasses. Stevie Wonder, as an example.
