Well I survived my 2nd ride out. Glad better prepared with water for this one. 13 miles and felt pretty good. Just needed to get back. Travelling down hills was great but each one I went down reminded me up hills were coming.

Now I have some Garmin Map My Ride Strava data I can work with.

Loved all the vehicles getting as close as they could when passing to pass them in traffic further on.

They say "what goes up must come down", but I agree with you that "what goes down must come back up again".

Yes that's the problem when you go downhill its to remind you there is an uphill not too far away.
Its for that reason that i have had to go the E cycle way at least it gets me out cycling again as i found i was using my bike less and less.
And the pressure i was putting on my knees was not helping them which was defeating the reason i started cycling again in the first place.

There are now no hills that i fear anymore and i find myself going out cycling more and i am getting the exercise.
