Any half decent footpump will come with an adaptor to fit the presta/woods valve. The Michelin ones stock by Halfords seem a bit on the pricy side but are worth every penny IMO (don't buy the ones you find at market stalls for a fiver. They're shite in my experience).

I use my Michelin to pump up my road bike tyres to 100psi. It needs a good hard press for each pump once you go over 80psi but it's perfectly do-able.

Good advice there. I also have a Michelin footpump which will do 120 psi. I find it easier to use for this than a track pump.

Don't get one of those twin-barrelled ones. Unless you're a 20 stone monster, you'll never get more than about 60 psi with one of those (we have one at work. Great for Hilux tyres, useless for bike tyres).
