Food storage - fail

Having a huge bukkit of parsnips sitting in the outhouse on the verge of looking sad I decided to cook and freeze a load of them.

Baggy and I have been snacking on roast 'snips for the last two hours...

I nearly cycled over a parsnip yesterday in Corley village.
It was lying in the middle of the road, all folorn. And it's thin end had snapped off. Poor thing - it was like it has lost the will to live. i wanted to pick it up, bring it home and tend it back to health, but alas it was a lost cause
