Well, not quite. I've fitted a Bachetta B-pivot folding stem. I can now whip the front wheel, front mudguard and seat off, rotate the handlebars, pivot the stem and load the bike into the car. A chance now to join group rides on a recumbent. At the moment the stem is on top of the RANS headset adjuster. I'm contemplating cutting the fork steerer, installing a star nut and removing the RANS adjuster. It would look neater and save a bit of weight but would be an irreversible change. What do you think?
