Folding Microbike , any info?

Hi , I have just bought an old folding Microbike which after a quick tyre change & puncture repair went round the block quite nicely. Rubber belt drive & pedal back rear brake. Can't seem to find out much about this well engineered machine on the net, any ideas ?

Hi , quick response. I do not think it is that one although it is difficult to tell from that picture. This one has a silver anodised aluminium frame , black rubber boots over the joints, a couple of Microbike labels / stickers & one on the lower bar that says something like SHNED or SHRED . The third digit is hard to work out due to the font. Also the Microbike has no hyphen.

That is the one, spot on apart from the colour and someone has added a front brake at some stage which I thought did not look original. Is there any technical information available on these? & thanks bye the way

I've had a look on their site, but it might be best if you had a look for yourself, seeing as you know what you're looking for.

Your internet search skills are way ahead of mine. I asked about the spec because the only thread I could find mentioned some sort of two gear system. Only way to go was to test it out so gave it a try this morning & I could hardly believe that the little back hub incorporates the drive, freewheel , back pedal brake plus a two speed back pedal triggered two speed drive assembly. That small 12.5" wheel & it all works :?:
