Folders - suspension or no suspension?

Hi all,

I'm currently living in Hong Kong, and want to explore the region by bike, they have the most amazing cycle network compared to the UK. A folder is what I'll be getting, as it'll have to be kept in my apartment, taken on public transport, and then flown back to the UK later this year. Dahon seems to be the make of choice both on the paths and in the shops.

There are two models which have taken my eye:

Jetstream P8

and

Vitesse P18

I'll be using the bike mainly on the cyclepaths, there may be a little bit of gravel path off-roading, but the majority, from what I've been on so far, is tarmac. I'll be going out for about 4 to 5 hours at a time.

Has anyone here had experience of both?

Plumped for the Jetstream P8 in the end, managed to find one second hand that was a decent price.
