I've had a couple tyres delivered like that. With the exception of one that I think has a manufacturing fault, all have been fine and straightened out soon after.

Apart from weight savings, this is why I only buy folders these days.

common to get them delivered folded.
some are better at folding the tire than others.
be fine after its fitted ,just work the bead so its not kinked
