Flexible frame?

In the video below, I have mounted my camera just under the stem. At point 0:52 onwards, you can see the rear of the frame flexing a lot when I am putting the power down. Watch the rear stays, they move about a lot.

I am not the most powerful rider out there and was certainly not going for it, but I am just amazed at how much the frame flexes.

The frame is Alu with Carbon forks and seat tube so I cannot understand how it is so flexible.

Any advice as to whether this is something to worry about would be great. I have never seen or heard about anything like this before.

Im with @Rob3rt - I have looked a number of times and can't see enough flex to give me any concern or anything unexpected.
You have to also realise that an exceptionally stiff ride is very unforgiving, and puts all movement and vibration through the rider. My Venge with its stiff deep carbon rims makes it feel like your teeth are coming loose at times. As such a little give helps with comfort imho

Nice roads though, how smoooth are they... round here it looks like the surface of the moon

Hey, c'mon guys, don't ruin his show. If he said his powah was enough to flex the frame, then it was enough. I keep waking up every morning hoping that my nightly effortless-cycling dreams will somehow carry over to the day, so I have something to look forward to. It doesn't seem to work yet, though .

Looks perfectly normal to me. To make a completely rigid frame you'd have to use steel girders.

Sit on your bike (stationary), lean it to the left and put your weight on the right pedal (basically the position it would be in during a sprint). Now lean it to the right and transfer your weight to the left pedal - notice the flex of the frame at the bottom bracket, all perfectly normal

Those legs won't flex any frame !

It's camera distortion.

i can't see any flex in the frame either to be honest - and as fossyant said, them legs are to thin to flex the frame

The rear camera needs adjusting, it captures too much of my groin and legs and not enough of behind. It also hits my cables when I turn right (thats why it wobbles about). The Contour flat surface mount works a treat though because I can adjust it. I could even do a "Matthew's face cam" view.
