Contact Planet X and ask them. Especially regarding sizing as you may need a different sized frame to if it were a drop bar

You could also discuss with Spa about their Ti frames and suitability as flat bars

Right - I'm now on my PC and can provide further details.

I have no idea what spec the AL6 is, but I'm guessing it's the flatbar from their 'Fitness' range. Your first problem will be the wheels - the Planet X has a 12mm thru-axle frame and will only take up to a 28mm tyre so your current wheels & tyres will also need to be the same otherwise you'll need to buy new. You'll also need to buy a front fork (plus matching headset) and ensure that this is also 12mm thru axle, but the bars & shifters should swap over as will the drive train. The front derailleur may need replacing as one may be band on and the other braze on, but again I have no idea which either bike uses. Finally, the other area you may have problems with is the seatpost which is 31.6mm on the Hurricane, and again you may need to buy new if the AL6 has a different size.

Howver if the AL6 is a drop bar bike, you'll only be able to swap over a minimum of components so it's an ideal excuse to build a complete bike to your own specs with all new parts as I did. I started with a new frame and forks and purchased all new items which matched the frame - pictures and a brief list of parts are HERE.
