Fizik saddle

Even after a year of owning my bike the saddle on my boardman is still destroying my ar$e

I really like the look of the fizik ardea they use on the new boardman SLR, anyone know if they are better than the standard boardman ones?

Better is subjective. Only your bum will be able to tell you if they are more comfortable.

I like my Fizik on my bike but its all subjective.

I have Fizik Arione saddles on 3 bikes, would not have anything else now..I have tried different saddles but found the Fizik the most comfortable. Must add it took quite a while to get comfy on the Fizik.
It can get expensive if you can't find the right saddle for you, I've never come across any shop offering try before you buy. Some shops have a arse measuring service which could help.
Don't think any bike saddle will be like sitting in your favourite armchair..

Got to agree with Stu Smith I have an Arizone on two bikes and when I get another road bike I will get a third.
Get your bum measured to get the best results..
PS..I'm a snake size..

Go to a decent bike shop that has an Arse'o'meter, get your sit bones measured, then they can advise what saddle best suits your size, they should if they are a decent outfit have some test saddles you can leave a deposit on and go ride a week or so, only then will you get an idea. It took me 3 saddles doing this before I settled on a selle italia one... flight gel..

Specialized stores do loans and measurement, although that just gives sit bone width not best saddle design

Cheers guys, I find my saddle to narrow and I know the ardea is wider, I might get it to try as I know of one £25 cheaper than the full prise, if I don't get on with it I'll sell it on and get by butt measures

After much trial and error .... Finally settled (pun intended) on a fizik arione
