I ordered a pair from Planet X for the great price of £59.99. My current entry level dhb shoes have seen better days so thought I couldnt pass up this bargain. My only worry in the fit as I currently have a size 43 pair so ordered the same in the R3s but they are longer than my dhbs although once tightened they are a snug fit on the sides. I have no idea if a size smaller will be much shorter in length or too tight. Thats the worry about buying stuff online as you dont try it on first. Surely a bit of room in front of the toes isn't going to affect my power too much if the cleat is positioned back over the ball of the foot? Dont know whether to send them back and get a half size less.

I wear shoes 2 sizes bigger than normal shoe size ( for the width ) - nice and comfy with no problems putting the power down.

You can always pad the heel a bit if push comes to shove.

Don't put the cleat too far back, otherwise you will get problems and not get the right power out. Positioning is important

I have a question, probably silly about these shoes.... I attached the shimano spd sl cleats to the shoes as normal but there is a rattling noise from the unused screw where you can fit different types of cleats. I only realised this when I had fitted the cleats and noticed that there is another screw in the middle which moves forward and back from toe to heel and makes a hell of a rattling noise when riding or walking in the shoes. I'll have to take the cleats off after finely placing them but what can be done with this noisy moving screw?

I've got mine too but found them very uncomfortable for the entire ride. They have a significant arch support but i developed an ache immediately on the outside middle of my left foot. Have to play with the cleats I think as they are pretty central; perhaps move them a little outwards.
