The second one for an old, loose ball bearing, bottom bracket and for a lock ring. If you don't have one, you can put a sacrificial screwdriver in the slot as a drift and tap that with a hammer.
The round black tool is a top hat tool used to undo Shimano hollow tech ii bottom bracket cups with one side and to tighten the non drive crank arm onto the bottom bracket with the other.
