Hi,

I want to fit my SKS front mudguard but I have suspension corrected rigid forks so there is a large gap between the fork crown and the trye.

If I use the hole in the fork crown then the mudguard is above the v-brake cable, and dosen't fit well.

I would like to have the mudguard below the v-brake cable as there is plenty of clearence between the cable/rubber thing and the tyre, so I need an 'extension' to reach down from the hole in the fork crown that I can attach the mudguard to.

Do they exist? Where can I get one? Should I try and make one from a stiff strip of metal with a hole in each end? It would need to be about 7cm long.

I would make one. It's only really needs a bit of flat steel or aluminium with a 1/4" hole at either end.
