First time out since snow :)

Finally got out today for the first time since the snow come down which made me very happy as I got my self a brand new all aluminium, front suspension mountain bike AND I LOVE IT. I covered a nice 15 miles around Ulley, Thurcroft and Rotherham. My only complaint with my new bike is that the seat has no padding at all its horrible lol, im a bit gutted I have to buy a new seat for a new bike but my ass cheaks are telling me its a must, but its the only fault I have on what has been a fantastic few hours out.

Glad your back out on the bike, have you got any padded cycling shorts, they will help

padding isnt what makes a bike saddle feel comfortable ,its the shape and get padded shorts

I usually just wear my traksuit bottoms but I am looking at some padded bottoms on ebay and a seat is coming off my old bike which is far more comfortable. Felt so good to get out today though I get really board on the excersize bike.

Saddle issues are big in cycling aren't they?
I'd like to know just how many sorts of saddles are out there. It must be enormous.
And you only need one. Crazy isn't it?

I guess your seat is a key part of your bike if your on it for long periods of time, so it does need to be suited to you. So a good pair of cycling trousers or shorts and a cumfy seat and its all good.
