At first I was a little apprehensive about going out yesterday, but I'm glad I did, it was a beautiful day. After having to ride to work to get the road bike, I missed the club riders leaving so went off on my own.

I was a bit concerned about ice, but it wasn't an issue and it was a real pleasure to be out with such quiet roads. The cycle computer read 28F at the lowest point, think thats around -2C, but it didn't feel anything like it once moving.

I stopped around the headland at St Agnes and it was deafly silent, not a breath of wind and worthy of a photo, but the phone lets it down (now I realise I should have included the bike in the photo)

Looks like a great ride.

Weather has been great round my way too. On the way to work this morning I had to stop twice because I was too warm, overdid it with the layers. Roads are dry, ice forming only in a couple of regular places where there are long-standing puddles.

I cleaned my car. Now all my neighbours know I'm a tosser as there's a huge sheet of ice.

Nice one Chris, not often you get to experience sub-zero rides in Cornwall! I bet St Agnes Head was looking lovely. I come from Blackwater and parents still live there so often take the bike down with me when I go to see them and enjoy the coastal rides
