First sub 3 hours for a 50miler

Pleased today clocked in just shy of 3 hours for a 50 miler, having another go tomorrow

He's a Fireman for heaven's sake. The guy dresses in full firesuit with breathing aparatus and runs while carrying a coil of hose up a four storey training tower.
Then climbs a 50 foot ladder to rescue a lovely cutie from a burning office block.
Then does a 2hr 55 minute 50 miler for some evening exercise.

Same again tomorrow then

What route did you take.

Try plotting it into http://www.bikehike.co.uk and use the elevation function to get an idea how much of a climb it was.

Kent's flat anyway but a 16mph average speed for 50 miles for a beginner is insane.

lol i was over the moon with myself for doing 16 miles in 66 minutes today... sheesh, i got a long way to go. Grats on a fantastic time simon and good luck with tomorrows run.
