Finally have my first road bike. Collected my shiny new Boardman Road Comp this afternoon. All I need to do now is learn how to ride a road bike (shouldn't be too difficult) and how to attach all the accessories I got to go with it. The instructions I seem to have for fitting mudguards, lights etc... are worse than flat pack furniture instructions

Lights should be easy enough to attach to a bike but I had my local bike shop put on my mudguards and pannier rack. Have fun with your new bike!

List your accessories on here, the actual type of mudguards etc, and I'll guarantee that loads on here have fitted the same ones and can give you some tips

Thanks freestyler. Lights I should be able to manage as I had some on my old mountain bike, it was the mudguards and wedge bag that were causing me the problems. I think I will follow your advice Smokeysmoo and see what everyone thinks
