Took my new Felt out on a half decent road ride after work. With its new wheels. They arent much lighter but deffo feel more rigid, altho I put the tyres up to 90psi from the 65 odd they were at so that made a difference too. Its not as comfy as it was (drat) and I could hear an irritating click on the crankshaft - hoping this is just it needs a bit of lube spray as I havent given it any yet.
I found myself climbing gentle hills most of the bloody time but I did get a chance to speed and it was very nice too. Still a bit nervous on it to be frank, and not very fit at the mo, but I did feel fresh as a (sweaty) daisy after an hour and a half.
I dont think Ive had my Romeo n Juliet moment with it yet but I think it probably needs a few more miles.
Lookswise, mighty happy.
