Went out for a ride tonight and just as i was turning round for home i noticed something was wrong with my front wheel. My first puncture on my new road bike.
Luckily i had everything i needed in my saddle bag. I just took my time and fitted a new inner tube. Its first time i have changed an inner tube in over 20 years. Everything went very smoothly. My small topeak mini mprph worked a treat. I have popped a new inner tube in my saddle bag and i will repair the old one tommorrow night.
Punctures won't phase me now

There's always a first puncture. Sadly, there's never a last one.

One thing to do apart from changing the tube: check the inside of the tyre (run a finger around carefully!) in case the object causing the puncture is stuck there, ready to do it again! The tube itself can be easily repaired at home.
