First puncture

I went on a ride with a friend today and got a puncture luckily enough I have a spare tube and tool kit but god the standard tyres tight on the tdf and it was a piece of glass that has put a hole in my tyre so I'm now going to upgrade to gatorskins

Personally I always carry two tubes, once you get a puncture and use your tube, you don't have a spare!

Plus I can't tell you how many times I've pinched a tube putting it into the tire!

I always carry 2 tubes +,puncture outfit just in case and your right about the Kenda tyres being tight there also rubbish in winter like tissue paper I swapped mine out for Vittoria ribinio's not had a punture since ( untill next time im out having now opened my mouth ) .

Gatorskins are a great choice. FWIW they've been my tyre of choice for a few years now.

I used to run marathon plus, I know they're heavier than a small elephant, but with 28's on it's really comfortable and unless you hit a land mine, you ain't flatting!
