Today I did my first decent ride, I used a training route I used to use twenty years ago when I was in my late teens, and a damn sight fitter than I am now. It's a route I wouldn't even think about back then but now it was a challenge.
I started at little village called Greenodd just off the main A590 marked 'A' on this link to my route.
I rode up and round Conistion Water through the odd shower, taking a break at the Bluebird Café, I had a head wind for the return leg but really no issues considering I am just getting back on a bike and that bikes a single speed running 48/18 gearing. I was really pleased with myself I didn't bail on any of the Lakeland hills en-route some were not easy at all but I am stubborn and don't like to be beat.
Anyway here's a couple of poor quality pics taken on my poor quality phone.
