Hi all...
5 years ago, as a result of having money, I invested in a trek 1400 road bike.
Awesome.
However I need new tyres and having had lots of punctures recently I invested in a a pair of Marathon Plus 700x25. My existing front tyre is700x 23. My rear wheel is a slightly larger tyre, but Icannot rember if my rim is a larger size.
Whilst I was expecting to have difficulties fitting hte new tyres, I seem to have a different issue.
Basically I cannot get the bead to start to go inside the rim. I've tried fitting the tyre onto the rim with no inner tube, but the bead is simply 'to big'
Any ideas suggestion? Do I need to get to get a slightly wider rim?
Any suggestions most welcome
