First outing

Well after one thing and another i finally got out tonight for my first ride. Did 5.7miles averaged out 12.5 mph.
Really enjoyed it and reckon I could've stayed out!!! But thought I'd ease into it.
Loved it, can now see why you do it. Sounds over the top but it was exhilarating :-)

Just put new schwalbe marathon plus on as well.

Well done! My first ride was a very out of breath 2 miles but that was enough to get me hooked!

Keep enjoying it! I went from dragging a full sus BSO out of the garage every 6 months to commuting 80 miles a week in about a month.... My mates think I'm mad cycling 40 odd miles on a day for fun (I know people do more) but quite often the time I get on my bike is the only peace and quiet I get

Nice one Jonesy. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm fairly new to cycling as well and love it. Just think how much better you'll like it once the longer days arrive. Can't wait for the early morning dawn rides!
