Finally got round to buying a cycle carrier so 9 year old daughter and I took a trip down to Reculver yesterday to cycle part of the Viking Trail. It was a lovely day but we only managed 13 miles as we had to get back before the car park closed. I'm sure we would have done more had we had more time. It was lovely and gentle and the weather was beautiful.

Got the cycle carrier attached fine both times but will I ever get over the paranoid feeling that it's going to fall off on the journey  ? I think I was checking the rear view mirror more than I was looking through the windscreen....

Been cycling for 7 years and still worry about the carrier. Never given me a reason to worry, I just do.
